MyVoIPSpeed
The Custom Branding example demonstrates the ability to change the look and feel of MyVoIPSpeed user interface to blend with corporate branding by adding a corporate logo to the actual MyVoIPSpeed UI panel. This is available in the Professional and NOC editions only*

The Custom Branding example uses the standard HTML <param> feature to direct the  MyVoIPSpeed applet to load a gif file. Each tabbed test section, 'VoIP' and 'Speed' can independently load a gif file.

Applet Syntax:

<applet MAYSCRIPT name="voip" code="myspeed.class" archive="voip.jar" width=600 height=400>
<param name="voipbackgroundoverlay" value="companylogo_voip.gif">
<param name="backgroundoverlay" value="companylogo.gif">

</applet>

Explanation:

1. Using the standard HTML feature <param> the example sets the MyVoIPSpeed parameters 'voipbackgroundoverlay', and 'backgroundoverlay' to load a standard 'gif' file. The value settings define the gif file title assigned which instructs the applet to load the gif file. Because gif files support transparency the user can control which part of the gif is visible and where..

Although this option is being used to change the look and feel of the VoIP, Speed and Quality test in this example this <param> technique can be used to assign any number of MyVoIPSpeed test options. For example the VoIP test results can generate an email for emailing to the service provider. Click the link below to see more options.
